The short answer: if you live in Greater Sudbury, White Birch Post can deliver cigarettes, cigars and loose leaf tobacco to your door the same day. Order online before the daily cut-off shown on our homepage and at checkout, have your photo ID ready, and our driver brings it to you.
Where we deliver same-day
Same-day delivery covers Greater Sudbury, from our store in Capreol. That includes:
- Sudbury itself: downtown, the South End, New Sudbury, Minnow Lake, the Flour Mill, Donovan and Gatchell
- The Valley: Capreol, Val Caron, Val Thérèse, Hanmer and Blezard Valley
- Chelmsford, Azilda, Dowling and Onaping
- Lively, Naughton and Walden
- Garson, Falconbridge, Coniston and Wahnapitae
When you enter your address at checkout, the postal code tells us whether you’re in the local delivery zone. If you’re outside it, your order ships by tracked Canada Post instead.
How it works
- Order online. Browse cigarettes, cigars and loose leaf, and check out any time.
- Beat the cut-off. Orders placed before the daily cut-off qualify for same-day delivery. The current cut-off is on our homepage and at checkout. Orders after it go out on the next delivery day.
- Show your ID. Our driver checks government-issued photo ID at the door for every delivery. The person receiving the order must be 19 or older.
What does local delivery cost?
Local delivery is a flat rate based on your order total. You’ll see the exact amount at checkout before you pay, and the full rate table is on our delivery area page.
Why order instead of driving in?
For a lot of our customers, especially in the Valley and the outlying communities, it saves a long round trip for a carton. You also get the full selection rather than whatever a convenience store has left on the shelf: native brands, GRE, brand-name labels like Du Maurier and Player’s, and bagged cigarettes.
Common questions
Can someone else accept my delivery?
Only an adult 19 or older with valid government-issued photo ID can accept the order.
What if I’m not home?
We can’t leave tobacco unattended. Contact us through our contact page or by phone and we’ll arrange another time.
Do you deliver outside Greater Sudbury?
We ship everywhere in Canada except Nunavut by tracked Canada Post. See ordering tobacco online in Ontario for details.
White Birch Post sells to adults 19 and over only. Smoking is harmful to your health. For free support with cutting back or quitting, see our responsible use page.
